	Mortgage refinancing activity and home loan applications increased last week as interest rates stayed under 5% for the seventh straight week. Though they remained below the important psychological barrier of 5%, interest rates on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages rose to 4.92% from the previous week's 4.88%.
